Greetings, and thanks for coming back to check out the latest Sound Experience Wedding Wrap Up blog installment! Today I'm shoutin' out Mr. and Mrs. Hernandez who just had their wedding over Thanksgiving weekend. They had a huge turnout for their reception at the San Marcos Activity Center after exchanging vows up the road in Kyle, Texas.
I introduced the happy couple to everyone after announcing the wedding party and their parents during the Wedding March at the hall. For their First Dance, they selected "I Wanna Grow Old with You" by Westlife and then followed it up with the traditional Father/Bride and Mother/Groom dances. While being entertained by a mariachi band, their family and friends enjoyed a buffet style meal of brisket and sausage with trimmings catered by Kent Black's Barbeque in San Marcos, both of which were excellent.
The bride and groom had several requests for the dance including line dances, Disco/80's plus Tejano and Country favorites. I was able to juggle music from their requests list along with songs requested by their guests throughout the night. The result was a variety of music played for a dance floor that was never empty.
RoxStar Photography was in the house and they took pictures, set up a Photo Booth and videotaped the reception including all of the fun people had dancing. Sydney's Fashion supplied the decorations and did a fantastic job setting the tone with their up lighting and table centerpieces.
A lot of effort was given by every vendor involved in this wedding and I think the newlyweds were very pleased with the way everything turned out. It was a blast being a part of their wedding celebration and of course, all of us at Sound Experience wish them the very best!!!
